Managing finances, although essential for day-to-day living, most often isn’t taught in school—so people tend to turn to online resources to teach themselves. That’s why providing people with easy-to-access information about topics most important to them was the idea behind creating more content to grow the Pentagon Federal (PenFed) Credit Union Learning Center. This extensive online library features financial articles that range in focus from checking and savings to student loans. Taking note of subjects at an A+ level of interest for college-goers, I wrote this article to offer practical takeaways for students who are most likely living on their own for the first time and figuring out how to financially support themselves while in school.
